International selection, British Championships, National winter and summer Championships. Team Galas | Training to compete at the highest levels or have the ability to achieve these levels. Swimmers should show complete commitment to reaching their full potential. |
| Junior Performance (13hrs) |
National Summer Championships. Team Galas | Training to compete at the highest levels for the younger age group swimmers. Swimmers should aim to reach their highest level based on ability with full commitment to training. |
| Age Group 1 (11.5hrs) |
National Summer Championships, Regionals and Counties. Team Galas | Training to train and training to compete. Learning to optimise the training sessions to reach goals and targets that have been agreed between the swimmer and the lead coach. Swimmers should have competitive aspirations, a desire to improve technique and enjoy competing. |
| Age Group 2 (8hrs) |
Regional and County Championships. Team Galas | Training to train. This squad is very much learning how to train. They will experiment with all the events from long distance freestyle to the middle distances, IMs and sprints. All four strokes, starts and turns should be competent to competition standard. |
| Age Group 3 (6hrs) |
County Championships and Level 3 & 4 Galas. Team Galas | Focusing on technique over all four strokes and building stamina. Competitive starts and turns should reach a competent level. |
| Development (4hrs) |
County Championships. Level 3 & 4 Galas. Team Galas | Focusing on technique over all four strokes and building stamina. Competitive starts and turns are becoming competent. |
| Academy 1 (2hrs) |
Level 4 Galas | Technique focused in all four strokes. Introduction of competitive starts and turns. |
| Academy 2 (1.33hrs) |
Level 4 Galas | Technique focused in all four strokes. Introduction of competitive starts and turns. |
| Youth 1 (5.5hrs) |
Swimmer led competition goals | For swimmers that have reached a high level who wish to swim with less commitment or no longer wish to compete. |

Club Championships | Training for fun, social and fitness aspects. |
| Junior (2hrs) |
Club Championships & Swimmer led competition goals | Focusing on technique in all four strokes. Competitive starts and turns are taught. Support for swimmers interested in competing as well as those training for fun, social and fitness aspects. |
